Welcome to the Zimmer Biomet Institute’s Inaugural Sharpening Your Edge Event
Building on the success of the Cutting Edge series, Sharpening Your Edge was conceived to provide a consolidated practical surgeon training opportunity. Spanning Hip, Knee, Shoulder Sports & Arthroplasty, ASC Solutions, Tech & Data Solutions, and Trauma segments, Sharpening Your Edge will be hosted primarily in two adjacent Las Vegas lab facilities, Viticus Eastern Campus (Hip and Knee pathways) and Oquendo Center (Shoulder Sports & Arthroplasty pathways).
This two day course allows each surgeon attendee to create their own customized learning experience, affording focus in one or two segments, diversification across several, as well as cross over between the curriculum offered at Viticus and Oquendo. Select the topics of interest, filling 16 hours during the two day timeframe (17 or 18 hours total if you choose the Oxford and/or ROSA Knee Certifications). When making selections, each topic will have the associated number of hours aligned with it. If you choose to cross over between pathways, please do so within 4 hour increments (4 hours with Knees, 4 hours with Sports Medicine, 4 hours of “Roundtable Sessions”, etc.). Make your choices equating to 16-18 hours and we will build your customized agenda for you!
Here are some guidelines:
Hip and Knee Pathway - Choose a minimum of 4 hours of “Roundtable Sessions” during the two day experience.
