Biography

Dr. Brett Perricelli specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery and has been with South Hills Orthopaedic Surgery Associates since 2011. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with a minor in religion from Bucknell University before attending medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his residency at UPMC, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Hip and Knee replacement and revision at the OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Perricelli has a clinical interest in postoperative pain management, infection prevention, blood-loss management, accelerated recovery, and the design of hip and knee replacement implants.
