Dr. Karia is Chief of the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma and Vice Chairman for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the UT Health San Antonio. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He completed his orthopedic residency and trauma fellowship at the UT Health San Antonio. His clinical practice focuses on complex periarticular fractures of the upper and lower extremity, pelvis and acetabular fractures, and the post-traumatic manifestation of these injuries.
