Event Overview

The Foundation for Orthopedic Trauma Upper and Lower Extremity course is a pure dissection approach course.  All the technical approaches are reviewed in a hands on didactic fashion over the course of this two day event. 

Day 1 will feature topics on the upper extremities of the human anatomy including: humerus fractures, elbow fractures/dislocations, and approaches involving the scapula and deltoid/deltopectoral region.

Day 2 will cover topics on lower extremities: complex discussion on hip approaches (anterior and posterior), knee approaches (including lateral, distal, and proximal techniques), and leg and ankle fractures.

Participant level: PGY2-4 Orthopedic Resident. Scholarships are available, please inquire for details.
