I chose these few papers this year for the ABOS WLA, and this is a short review of the foot and ankle articles. I’m not going to go line-by-line through each paper. The goal is to pull out the practical takeaways: what changes how we counsel patients, how we think about risk, and how we might modify postop protocols, fixation strategy, or implant selection.
