Biography

Dr. Behnam (Ben) Sharareh is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow conditions. Raised in Laguna Niguel, CA, he earned a degree in Bioengineering from UCLA and his medical degree from UC Irvine, where he joined the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. Dr. Sharareh completed his orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington. He performs various procedures, including shoulder and elbow arthroplasties and reconstructions. Dr. Sharareh is the editor-in-chief of Orthobullets and enjoys basketball, golf, tennis, skiing, and family time.
