Biography

Dr. Stephen J. Warner is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He specializes in orthopedic trauma, focusing on periarticular fractures, fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, periprosthetic fractures, polytrauma, and complications such as nonunions, malunions, and infections. Dr. Warner earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, followed by a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology and an M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at McGovern Medical School. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Orthopedic Trauma Association.
