Vivian Chang is born and bred in the USA. She is AAOS board certified orthopedic surgeon in Kailua Kona, Hawaii and is affiliated with Kona Community Hospital and Alii Health Center. Fellowship trained at Hospital For Special Surgery in New York City as well as a Shoulder and Knee Sports Medicine Fellowship in Paris, France. Received her medical degree in Brooklyn, NY and spent time working overseas in New Zealand as well as inland in our beautiful southwest AZ with the Navajo Nation. She enjoys the challenges of delivering healthcare in rural settings. There is unrivaled beauty in Nature; she also enjoys learning different cultures/languages/cooking styles. She has been in practice for more than 30 years.
