Dr. Jonathan B. Ticker is a board-certified and fellowship-trained shoulder and sports medicine specialist who treats both nonoperative and operative conditions of the shoulder. He focuses on minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures to aid in the return of function. An accomplished medical researcher and author of over 70 publications regarding the shoulder, Dr. Ticker is a lecturer for various international and national courses, including for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, as well as the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Turkish Shoulder and Elbow Society, and Japanese Shoulder Society. He has served as an orthopedic and sports medicine adviser to numerous professional, collegiate, and youth athletic teams. Dr. Ticker has been Chair of the Medical Committee for the 2002 & 2009 United States Golf Association Open Championships, and the 2019 Professional Golf Association Championship at Bethpage Black. He also acted as medical staff for players in the PGA Tour FedEx Event, The Barclay's at Bethpage Black Course in 2001, and on the National Teams medical staff for the United States Soccer Federation, including FIFA Men's and Women's World Cup events.
