Dr. William Pannell, MD, is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon at LA Orthopaedic Specialists in Downtown Los Angeles, California. He specializes in hip and knee replacement, pelvic and acetabular fractures, nonunions, malunions, and deformity correction. Dr. Pannell earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Doctor of Medicine from UCLA. He completed his surgical internship, orthopaedic surgery residency, and orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the University of Southern California. During his fellowship, he focused on complex fracture care, pelvic and acetabular fractures, nonunions, malunions, long bone deformity, and the care of multiply injured patients. Dr. Pannell is a member of AO North America, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
