Dr. Matthew R. LeVasseur is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in comprehensive care of the shoulder and elbow. He has expertise in minimally invasive arthroscopic and open surgeries, including primary and revision shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repairs, and shoulder stabilization. Dr. LeVasseur completed his medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical University, followed by residency at the University of Connecticut and a fellowship at Columbia University. He is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons society and has authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles.
