Dr. Scudday, a student-athlete, played football at the University of San Diego and graduated Cum Laude with a major in Chemistry. He then went on to complete medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr. Scudday completed his orthopedic residency at Loma Linda Medical Center where he was chosen by his attendings to be the senior resident representative and subsequently elected to attend the American Orthopedic Association leadership meeting in 2016. He then completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction, Arthritis, and Joint Replacement Surgery at Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) in Irvine, California. HOI is Orange County’s leader in orthopedic surgery and was named one of the best orthopedic hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report, 2018-19. Dr. Scudday is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, California Orthopedic Association and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
