Dr. Michael C. Doarn is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2005, followed by a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Florida, where he served as chief resident and received a distinguished resident award. He then pursued a fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microsurgery at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Dr. Doarn is actively involved in education and research with the Florida Orthopaedic Institute Hand Fellowship and the University of South Florida Orthopaedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery residency programs. He treats all conditions of the upper extremity, with special interests in fracture care, arthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, nerve decompression, repair and reconstruction, Dupuytren’s disease, arthroscopy and arthroplasty of various joints, as well as regenerative medicine. Dr. Doarn is committed to patient education and collaborative care to help patients return to their activities as soon as possible.
