Dr Matthew Steffes is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr Matthew Steffes' practice emphasis is in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. His expertise includes the latest and most advanced techniques for minimally invasive surgery and reconstructive treatments, as well as nonsurgical management and rehabilitation. Dr. Steffes has had extensive hands-on experience in sports medicine treating high school, collegiate, and professional athletes in all major sports, and serves as team physician for the St. Louis Cardinals. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
