Plays: 5758

Video Description

The ballottement test is performed as the examiner grabs the triquetrum between the thumb and second finger of one hand and the lunate between the thumb and second finger of the other hand. The lunate is moved dorsal and volar relative to the stabilized triquetrum, and a positive test results in hypermobility compared to the contralateral side, reproduces pain, and may produce crepitus.
