PRP Injection into the Elbow for Lateral Epicondylitis

Video Description

This video is an example of a Platelet-Rich Plasma Injection into the elbow performed at Tri-Valley Orthopedics. Platelet-Rich Plasma injections, or PRP injections, are a treatment for some of the more common tendon injuries and chronic tendon pain. Not limited to just the elbow, PRP injections can be used to treat other joints such as the knee and ankle as well.
An injection into the elbow as shown is an example of how a PRP injection would be used to treat an injury such as lateral epicondylitis, or "tennis elbow".

1) Do you think there is sufficient evidence to support using PRP injections for lateral epicondylitis?
