Acetabular chondral damage, chondral flap, or "carpet delamination" is clearly seen at the acetabular side of the joint. This damage is typical for CAM type femoro-acetabular impingement. Since the flap is thick, microfracture was performed beneath the flap. Three months post operatively on a diagnostic arthroscopy, the flap has healed.
