It can beeasily diagnosed with imaging studies as CR or US.Although resorption of deposits occurs spontaneouslyin most cases, some patients show persistent.clinical symptoms requiring medical attention. Mostpatients respond favorably to conservative treatments,but if symptoms persist, other therapeutic optionssuch as US-PICT (Ultrasound-Guided Percutaneous Irrigation of Rotator Cuff Calcific Tendinopathy) or ESWT may be considered.Surgery remains the most invasive treatment option inchronic cases that fail to improve with other less invasiveapproaches.
