George Balis, MD, has been a physician for more than 30 years. After more than 20 years as a general orthopaedic surgeon, which included joint reconstruction surgery, arthroscopic surgery and fracture surgery, he joined the staff at Cleveland Clinic in 2005 as a non-operative orthopaedist. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Balis believes it's important to treat his patients the same way he or his family would like to be treated and takes pride in his approach. He treats patients experiencing pain in their shoulder, knee or hand and works hand-in-hand with physical or occupational therapists for the best outcomes.
