Dr. Behnam (Ben) Sharareh is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in upper extremity—shoulder and elbow—conditions and procedures. Raised in Laguna Niguel, CA, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UCLA and his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship focused on shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington. Dr. Sharareh is committed to treating each patient like family, striving to help them lead active and healthy lifestyles. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), and the Association of Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, golf, and tennis, skiing, and spending time with his wife and family.
