Jonathan Hyde, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery techniques. He is the lead surgeon at Miami Spine Specialists and has over 34 years of clinical experience. Dr. Hyde is a national and international instructor for procedures such as Kyphoplasty, eXtreme Lateral Interbody Fusion (XLIF), and AxiaLIF. He was one of the three designers of the dbrII minimally invasive pedicle screw system, an FDA-approved system used across the United States. Additionally, he contributed a chapter on Degenerative Disc Disease in the first textbook on XLIF surgery, published in 2008.
