Biography

Dr. Bernard R. Bach Jr. is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, particularly knee and shoulder procedures. He pioneered the sports medicine program at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in 1986 and served as Director of the Division of Sports Medicine for 30 years. Dr. Bach has been a team physician for the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls. He has authored over 600 scientific papers and book chapters and has been recognized with numerous awards, including induction into the AOSSM Hall of Fame in 2018.
