Biography

I am an orthopedic surgeon specialized in musculoskeletal oncology since 2010. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to the comprehensive management of complex orthopedic conditions as well as to the academic training of future specialists. From 2019 to 2024, I served as Head of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Residency Program at the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción in Chile, where I currently teach orthopedic oncology. Originally from Venezuela and based in Chile since 2016, I combine clinical and surgical practice with academic work grounded in scientific rigor, humanism, and ethical responsibility. My main interests include the differential diagnosis of bone lesions, surgical management of musculoskeletal tumors, and interdisciplinary approaches to complex orthopedic cases. I am strongly committed to advancing a human-centered, evidence-based orthopedic practice and fostering the academic and ethical development of medical professionals.
