Biography

Dr. John S. Vorhies is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford Medicine Children's Health, specializing in pediatric orthopedic surgery. He completed his medical education at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2011, followed by residency at Stanford University Orthopaedic Surgery Residency in 2016, and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern in 2017. Dr. Vorhies is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 2019. He has been serving as the Director of Scoliosis & Spine Deformity Surgery & Research at Stanford Medicine Children's Health since 2022.
