Biography

Dr. Brian P. Gladnick is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He serves as the fellowship director for the Hip and Knee Replacement Service. Dr. Gladnick graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Delaware and earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, where he received the T. Campbell Thompson Prize for excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell Medical Center in New York, followed by a fellowship in Adult Total Joint Reconstruction at the OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte. He also completed subspecialty training in the direct anterior approach to total hip replacement at the Schulthess Klinik in Zürich, Switzerland. Dr. Gladnick's clinical interests include direct anterior approach total hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, treatment of periprosthetic fractures, and complex revision hip and knee replacement. He utilizes advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, computer navigation, robotic arm assistance, automated impaction, and intra-operative fluoroscopy to enhance surgical accuracy and precision. Dr. Gladnick is a fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). He has authored over eighty publications and has lectured internationally on various topics related to hip and knee replacement. Outside of work, he is involved with numerous charities and enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their three sons.
