Dr. Kevin E. Varner, MD, is the Chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, specializing in foot and ankle disorders. He serves as the head team physician for the Houston Ballet and as the assistant team orthopedic surgeon for the Houston Texans and the University of Houston. Dr. Varner completed his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery and an internship in general surgery at the same institution. He further specialized with a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Johns Hopkins University. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has been recognized as a 'Super Doc' by Texas Monthly magazine.
