Dr. Herbert Eidt is a double board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and general orthopaedic surgery. He has extensive experience treating complex shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle injuries, with a focus on arthroscopic management. Dr. Eidt served 16 years in the U.S. Army, providing care for both pediatric and adult patients with complex traumatic injuries. He was deployed multiple times, including a year at the DMZ in South Korea and combat assignments in Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for his exceptional care under combat conditions. After completing his military service, Dr. Eidt relocated to Southern California and joined South Orange County Orthopaedics. He serves as a consultant and team physician for local high school sports teams and has been involved in various local and regional athletic events.
