Biography
Ammar R. Karim, DO is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in trauma, adult and pediatric fracture care, infections, osteomyelitis, amputations, nonunions, malunions, pelvic fractures, acetabular fractures, periarticular fractures, leg length discrepancy, spine problems, and foot and ankle trauma. Dr. Karim received his fellowship training in orthopedic trauma at Ohio Heath Grant Medical Center. He completed his orthopedic residency training at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Karim obtained his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - School of Osteopathic Medicine and bachelor’s degree from the Rutgers University – School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. Dr. Karim is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
