Dr. Caleb Jones is an Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Shoulder & Elbow surgery serving the Houston/Clear Lake area. Originally from Tyler, TX, Dr. Jones attended the University of Texas at Austin where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in San Antonio, where he served as president of his class. Dr. Jones completed his residency training at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN, known for producing well-rounded orthopedic surgeons with significant trauma and joint reconstruction training. During residency, he provided orthopedic coverage for local high schools, Rhodes College, the Memphis Redbirds, and the Memphis Grizzlies. Following residency, Dr. Jones completed a Shoulder & Elbow fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, FL, with Drs. Mark Frankle and Mark Mighell. During fellowship, he performed a variety of shoulder and elbow replacements, including many revision surgeries, arthroscopic procedures, and fracture repairs. Dr. Jones has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, most of which are related to shoulder arthroplasty. His areas of expertise include upper extremity fractures/trauma, arthroscopy, and reconstruction (total joint replacement) of the shoulder and elbow. When not at work, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing golf, and saltwater fishing.
