Dr. Christopher M. Brusalis is a fellowship-trained, board-certified Sports Medicine Surgeon specializing in complex and minimally invasive surgical interventions for the shoulder. He practices at the HSS Sports Medicine Institute and serves as an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Brusalis is also an Assistant Team Physician for the New York Mets and St. John's University NCAA Division 1 Athletics Department. He graduated with honors from Yale University and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2017. He completed his orthopedic surgical residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Rush University, where he served as Assistant Team Physician for the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox. Dr. Brusalis has authored numerous peer-reviewed research articles in leading medical journals.
