Peter Brooks, MD, is a staff physician in the department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He trained in Orthopaedics at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program, and did additional training in hip and knee reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto. He specializes in total joint replacement of the hip and knee, and in hip resurfacing. Named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honour Medical Society, he is also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Brooks is interested in new techniques in joint replacement and hip resurfacing, as well as teaching others. He has written numerous articles and book chapters and has made over 100 national and international presentations.
