Dr. Shawniece Boss, DPM completed her undergraduate education at Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, and then earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an extensive four-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida, and New York-Presbyterian Queens in New York City. While there, she was exposed to multiple facets of podiatry, including elective forefoot and rearfoot surgery, trauma cases at a Level-1 Trauma Center, as well as office and clinical training. Aside from her podiatric residency, Dr. Boss loves to continue improving her surgical skills and furthering her medical knowledge. She has attended many lectures and courses, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgical conferences, Arthroscopy Skills Courses, Limb Deformity Courses with Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and a mini-fellowship in Dermatopathology with Bako Laboratories. When not helping others, you can find Dr. Boss reading on the beach, dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
