Dr. Akbar Hussaini is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstructive surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2001, completed his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and pursued fellowship training in total joint replacement at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Hussaini has been in practice since 2007 and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in Texas, including Ascension Seton Highland Lakes, Seton Smithville Regional Hospital, and AdventHealth Central Texas. He is experienced in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted joint replacement surgeries, as well as general orthopedic procedures.
