Dr. Mark Klion is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine with over 25 years of clinical expertise. He performs advanced arthroscopic procedures for the knee, shoulder, and hip, including cartilage repair, meniscal transplantation, and labral repairs. Dr. Klion has extensive experience with arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs and shoulder stabilization procedures, as well as fracture care and management. He serves as the Medical Director for the New York City Triathlon and Toughman Triathlon and is a member of the Medical Advisory Board of USA Triathlon. An accomplished endurance athlete, Dr. Klion has completed 15 Ironman triathlons, 15 marathons, and numerous ultra-distance races. He co-authored 'Triathlon Anatomy' and developed 'BodyworksMD,' a physician-guided home rehabilitation series.
