Biography

Dr. Kris J. Alden is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in biophysics concurrently at the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and a fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Alden has extensive experience in joint replacement surgery, including minimally invasive techniques and complex revision procedures. He joined The Steadman Clinic in July 2024, primarily serving patients in Aspen and Basalt, Colorado.
