Rahul is currently an orthopaedic surgery resident physician at University of Pittsburgh (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated with honors distinction from the University of Pittsburgh with a BSE in Bioengineering concentrating in orthopaedic biomechanics. He is a graduate of the world's first engineering-based college of medicine at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he worked on medical device design from conception to prototyping. He also holds great interest in spine research and has published in prominent orthopaedic journals ranging from biomechanical studies to molecular/cellular investigations.
