Biography

Dr. Frisch was born and raised in Michigan. He attended the University of Vermont for college, Loyola University Chicago for a Master’s in Medical Science and then Tufts University School of Medicine where he earned his MD and MBA in Healthcare Management. He completed his Orthopaedic Residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. During his time at Ford, he was actively involved in research, winning several awards in both clinical research and health care innovation. Dr. Frisch completed his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at Rush University. Dr. Frisch is currently seeing patients at the Center for Advanced Orthopaedics in Auburn Hills, Michigan and serves as Chief of Surgery at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital. Outside of clinical practice Dr. Frisch has been heavily involved in health care policy. He completed the AAHKS Health Policy Fellowship and since has been an active member of the AAHKS Advocacy Committee. In addition, he is on the OrthoPAC advisory board and is currently on the Michigan Orthopaedic Society Board as well as the AAOS Board of Councilers.
