Dr. Austin Pitcher is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon. He completed his undergraduate degree at Saint Cloud State University, followed by a PhD in Chemistry at the University of California Berkeley. He earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2014. Dr. Pitcher completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California San Francisco and pursued a fellowship in hand surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He specializes in the management of hand, wrist, and elbow conditions, including nerve and tendon injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, thumb arthritis, fractures, and shoulder rotator cuff tears. Dr. Pitcher practices at Golden State Orthopedics and Spine with offices in Oakland and Dublin, California.
