Dr. Claudette M. Lajam, MD, FAAOS, FAOA, FAAHKS, is an adult reconstructive surgeon specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. She serves as Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, System Chief of Orthopedic Quality and Integration, and Chief of Quality for the Division of Arthroplasty at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Lajam completed her residency at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine and an adult reconstruction fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute. She has held leadership roles in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), including Chair of the Board of Councilors, and is actively involved in initiatives promoting health equity and quality care.
