Dr. Chetan S. Deshpande, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic trauma, joint replacement, anterior hip replacement, and general orthopaedics. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in 2004, completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, and pursued a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at the Georgia Orthopaedic Trauma Institute in Macon, GA. Dr. Deshpande has been actively involved in orthopaedic education, leadership, and research, and has lectured at orthopaedic conferences nationwide since 2006. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and was nominated for Physician of the Year in May 2013. He practices at Chatham Orthopaedic Associates in Savannah, GA, and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the region.
