Emery is the Senior Director of Marketing for Extremities at Exactech, Inc. where he specializes in shoulder and foot/ankle arthroplasty. He began his career in orthopedics over 16 years ago while in graduate school as a marketing intern for Exactech. During this time, Emery experienced the rapid growth and transformation in the shoulder market, where he and his team developed a comprehensive shoulder portfolio to meet the unmet clinical needs and evolving indications in shoulder arthroplasty. Since then, the Equinoxe Shoulder System has become one of the leading and fastest growing shoulder systems on the market because of the innovation-first vision, best-in-class clinical research and medical education, tenure of internal team and unparalleled customer service. Emery graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in International Business and a minor in Spanish. Upon graduating, he completed a Certificate in International Affairs at the Texas A&M University, Bush School of Government and Public Service. He then went on to complete his masters degree in International Business and a certificate in global management at the University of Florida. During his time at Texas A&M University and University of Florida, Emery's passion for international business and Spanish let him to live/study in Spain, Mexico and Peru where he completed his undergraduate and graduate school curriculum in Spanish. Throughout his career at Exactech, Emery has been responsible for both upstream and downstream marketing. He first developed a strong clinical background in shoulder arthroplasty with the launch of the Equinoxe reverse in 2007. During this time, he traveled globally where he enjoyed helping develop new markets and creating many life-long relationships. Working in the rapidly evolving shoulder market has been an incredible opportunity as he loves working with some of the best minds in shoulder arthroplasty to develop many first-to-market products that have helped thousands of patients around the world. Emery resides in Gainesville, FL with his wife and three children who are five (twins) and three-years old.
