Dr. Kevin Wilk has led a distinguished career as a clinical physical therapist for over 39 years, specializing in the rehabilitation of sports injuries and orthopedic conditions. He has made significant contributions to research and education in the field. Dr. Wilk is the Associate Clinical Director and Co-Founder of Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, AL, and serves as the Director of Rehabilitative Research at the American Sports Medicine Institute. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Marquette University. Dr. Wilk received his physical therapy degree from Northwestern University Medical School and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Throughout his career, he has published over 170 journal articles, authored more than 115 book chapters, and lectured at over 900 professional and scientific meetings. Dr. Wilk has received numerous professional awards, including induction into the Sports Section Blackburn Hall of Fame and the APTA Catherine Worthingham Fellowship. He has worked with numerous professional athletes across various sports.
