Biography

Ms. Deepa Bose is a consultant in orthopaedic trauma and limb reconstruction at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Her practice is exclusively in adults, focusing on general trauma, major trauma, and post-traumatic limb reconstruction, including osteomyelitis, malunion, non-union, limb lengthening, and deformity correction. She qualified from the University of Calcutta in 1990 and completed her higher training in the UK, including a residency in Wales and a fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. Ms. Bose holds an MSc in Medical Education from Cardiff University and has been actively involved in medical education and curriculum development. She has served as Vice Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee for Trauma & Orthopaedics and has contributed to the revision of the curriculum. Additionally, she has been involved in humanitarian work, participating in projects in Guyana, Gaza, and Ukraine.
