Dr. Michael L. Knudsen is a board-certified orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in the treatment of shoulder and elbow injuries. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive arthroscopic and open surgeries, including shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair, and elbow ligament reconstruction. Dr. Knudsen utilizes advanced imaging and cutting-edge techniques such as platelet-rich plasma injections and blood flow restriction therapy. He has served as a team physician for professional and collegiate sports teams, including the Minnesota Twins and Iona College. Dr. Knudsen is also an active researcher and associate editor for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Reviews, Reports, and Techniques.
