Biography

Dr. Gus J. Leotta III is a double board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He has extensive experience in treating complex knee and shoulder conditions, performing a wide range of surgeries from minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures to advanced revision shoulder replacements. His practice also includes elbow reconstructions, hip and wrist fractures, and various orthopedic trauma injuries. Dr. Leotta served as a battalion surgeon in Iraq and directed medical operations with the 101st Airborne Division. He completed his orthopedic residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and a fellowship in sports medicine at Doctors Hospital/Baptist Health Orthopaedic Care.
