Dr. Alejandro Badia is an internationally renowned hand and upper extremity surgeon based in Doral, Florida. He graduated from Cornell University and completed his medical degree at NYU, followed by a residency in orthopedics at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Center. He pursued fellowships at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and in Freiburg, Germany. Dr. Badia is the founder of the Badia Hand to Shoulder Center and has served as Chief of Hand Surgery at Baptist Hospital of Miami. He co-founded the Miami Anatomical Research and Training Center (M.A.R.C.) and the Surgery Center at Doral. Additionally, he established OrthoNOW®, a network of orthopedic urgent care centers. Dr. Badia has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Doral Business Council’s Legacy Award and being named among the Top 100 Power Leaders in Healthcare by the South Florida Business Journal.
