Biography

Dr. Richard Gardner is a Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon and Assistant Professor at The Hospital for Sick Children and the Department of Surgery, University of Toronto. He specializes in lower extremity surgical management of children with neuromuscular conditions and hip surgery. Dr. Gardner completed his undergraduate training in London and his orthopaedic surgical training in London and Bristol, UK. After a fellowship at SickKids, Toronto, he worked in Ethiopia and Zimbabwe, establishing paediatric orthopaedic programs and hospitals. In 2023, he returned to Toronto to continue his work at SickKids.
