Dr. Brandon Boyd, born and raised in Morristown, Tennessee, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis in 2016. Dr. Boyd completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine - Chattanooga at Erlanger, followed by a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. He currently serves as a clinical instructor in the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine - Chattanooga. His special interests include hand and upper extremity trauma, arthritis of the wrist and hand, nerve compression and injuries, as well as arthroscopy of the wrist and hand. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Boyd enjoys aviation, running, and Tennessee football.
