Dr. David Cortese is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, joint replacement, and fracture care. He completed his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, followed by a residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Cortese is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is also a 12-year U.S. Army veteran with deployments to Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq. His practice focuses on general orthopedics, arthroscopy, and sports medicine.
