Biography

Dr. Romero is an orthopaedic surgery resident at the University of Central Florida's Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. He will graduate in 2026. Dr. Romero has an interest in spine surgery, and he plans to apply to the 2024-2025 fellowship match cycle for spine surgery. Dr. Romero graduated from the University of South Florida, earning his bachelor (2016) and master (2017) of science degrees in chemical and biomedical engineering, respectively. He graduated from the University of Central Florida's College of Medicine in 2021. His research interests have touched on hand and upper extremity surgery to total joint arthroplasties to spine surgery with many presentations and several publications.
